Hello,
My name is Tyler Webb and I am a social worker at the Center of Excellence (COE) for Suicide Prevention at the Department of Veterans Affairs. We are a research center that specializes in suicide prevention and the promotion of veteran health and well-being.
We are launching a new internship program that I am hoping you will consider disseminating to your graduate student bodies as you see fit. We are offering research experience for graduate students in medical, health or allied health professional programs. Our program is virtual so accepted students would be able to work remotely while we provide a comprehensive training program in state-of-the-art approaches to research addressing veteran suicide.
I have attached our program flyer, but I am always happy to jump on a call or Zoom meeting to chat about this some more. We also just launched our website where interested parties can apply. We are very excited about our new program and, as a new program, we could use all the help we can get to spread the word!
