Abstract submission  

Submission of Abstracts.

Submissions are encouraged for the 2024 GURS conference from all academic units across campus. Submissions that extend beyond the traditional research environment are welcomed. While data driven abstracts are encouraged (qualitative and quantitative), research that is exploratory will also be recognized. Therefore, abstracts that focus on philosophical questions, theory advancement, evaluation and development of measures, reviews, and secondary data analysis will also consider if they offer unique contributions to research and practice.

Notification of Acceptances: March 15, 2024.

 Abstracts will be sorted and judged in one of the following categories.

  • College of Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities
  • College of Health and Sciences
  • School of Business
  • School of Education
  • School of Law
  • School of Library Information Sciences 

Submission Instructions.

  • All abstracts must be approved by the research mentor(s).
  • All abstracts must be "print ready".
  • Student names can appear on multiple abstracts,  but can make only one presentation type.
  • When submitting, abstract students must select presentation styles (oral talk or poster session).
  • Before starting with the abstract submission, please make sure the following is included:
    • Title of submission
    • Names and emails of author(s)
    • Abstract (no more than 200 words)
    • Corresponding authors contact information (Institution name, email address, phone number) Presentation format preference (oral talk or poster session)
