Dear Potential Participant,

We are professors at Clark Atlanta University and The College of William and Mary. We are
conducting research on the experiences of Black students in Counselor Education programs.
We invite you to take part in a study designed to help understand Black students’ preparation to counsel White clients. We are conducting this study because of our interest in the equitable education of students of color, our desire to capture their experiences in diverse counseling contexts and our interest in addressing their needs in diverse counselor preparation programs
