"LGBTQ+ Therapy:  Understanding the Closet Experience, Trauma, and Attachment” will focus on LGBTQ+ terminology, trauma, relationships, attachment, therapeutic modalities, and shame.
 
Learning Objectives:
  1. Participants will have a basic understanding of the LGBTQ+ experience of trauma.
  2. Participants will be able to articulate 3-5 unique challenges associated with the LGBTQ+  population and how these impact attachments and relationships.
  3. Participants will learn and be able to apply 5-6 therapeutic interventions that are specific to working with the LGBTQ+ community.
  4. Participants will learn how to collaborate and refer to outside resources for LGBTQ+ clients.

    $80mental health professional early registration on or before June 26, 2019
    $95 mental health professional registration
