Dr. Kelly King will be finishing her time as a faculty member at NCCU at the end of the dual summer term. She would like to deliver the following message to our students:
I have had the pleasure to teach, supervise, advise, and get to know many of you over the years. Because of these relationships and what they mean to me, I want to share some more information about where I am headed and say a "proper" (virtual) goodbye. The next stop in my career is to continue teaching at the University of California Davis. The reason for the change is a personal one: my partner and I will be able to live in the same city and work at the same university. I am very excited to make this transition. I also have heartache about leaving NCCU. The people in our program...YOU!!...have made my time at Central such a joy. I will carry fond memories with me and speak proudly of our program.
