1. Call for CSI applications
Nu Chi Chi, NCCU's chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, is accepting applications to join the counseling honor society. If you meet the qualifications (GPA of 3.5 or above and a minimum of 9 credit hours completed in the program) you are eligible to apply! Please view the attached interest letter for more information on the process.
2. CSI Advocacy Summit invitation
The Mu Tau Beta Chapter and Nu Chi Chi Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota are proud to be collaborating with the North Carolina Counseling Association to host the 5th Annual North Carolina Chapters of Chi Sigma Iota Advocacy Summit. The Advocacy Summit is an opportunity for CSI chapters from across the state to network and discuss their chapter programs, as well as develop a larger advocacy goal for all of our CSI chapters. This year, the summit will be held in conjunction with the NCCA Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina on Thursday, February 27, 2020. The summit will be held from 10:30 A.M. to 11:50 A.M.
If you are not able to attend the full NCCA conference but want to take part in the CSI Advocacy Summit, you can register using the link below. Your registration will include access to 1 breakout session of your choice on Thursday, February 27th from 9:30 A.M. to 10:20 A.M., attendance to the CSI Summit from 10:30 A.M. to 11:50 A.M., and attendance to the keynote speaker, Dr. Lucy Purgason, at 12:00 P.M. (space is limited).
If you have already registered for the NCCA conference, you are invited to attend the CSI Advocacy Summit as one of your choices as a breakout session. Please register for this session in advance using the link below.

3. CSI Test Taking Strategies Workshop
The purpose of this workshop is to assist students and non-students with the strategies and skills necessary to take the NCE and CPCE Examinations. Topics include managing test-taking anxiety, personalizing a study plan, and practicing multiple study strategies (e.g., mnemonic devices, flash cards). This workshop is meant to supplement other studying on core content that you have been doing. While we will cover exam content throughout the day, it will not be our sole or primary focus.
