The Psychoanalytic Center of the Carolinas ľ (PCC) training programs offer a rich understanding of the psychoanalytic perspective, which can inform all clinical work ranging from supportive to insight-oriented. Our psychoanalytic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis tracks will deepen your understanding of the complexities of human development, relationships, feelings and behaviors and enable you to relieve suffering and facilitate positive change for your patients.

Apply now for Fall 2020. Deadline is March 1!

Interested in becoming a psychoanalyst or a psychoanalytic psychotherapist but concerned about the cost? We may be able to help. A new gift from Thomas J. Pearsall, Jr. will fund three additional scholarships for students entering either clinical track at the PCC in the Fall of 2020. These awards will offset some of the costs associated with supervision and personal analysis. For scholarship info and application visit

New for 2020-2021 are two Pearsall fellowships for non-matriculated students. This award will offset the costs of tuition and supervision for selected applicants who will enroll in PCC courses in the Fall of 2020 and continue in Spring 2021. For fellowship info and application visit
