My name is Melody Weber and I am a doctoral student in the Counselor Education department at Loyola University Maryland. I am currently recruiting participants for my dissertation research study investigating the spirituality, self-care, and professional quality of life of counseling students. If you are a current student in a CACREP-accredited counseling program and have completed a minimum of 100 hours of practicum and/or internship, please consider participating in this research.  I also invite you to forward this request to students who meet the participation criteria.

To participate in this study, please follow this link ( to complete a series of multiple choice surveys to describe your experiences of spirituality, self-care, and professional life as a counselor. These surveys should take about 20-30 minutes to complete. Information provided will be kept confidential and will be utilized to contribute to the growing body of research regarding professional quality of life for student counselors.

Remember, participation is completely voluntary. If you have any questions about the study, please email or contact me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Thank you very much.
