This presentation will discuss the importance of group counseling and how to improve confidence levels when conducting group counseling. It will specifically focus on discussing research done that explored and evaluated the importance and confidence levels of African American counselors-in-training core group counseling skills. We will also discuss the importance of group counseling in schools, career, and mental health areas.
