Counseling for Bravery: Addressing Anxiety in Schools 

October 8, 2019 at 1pm

Presenters:  Jennifer Barrow, NCCU and Kristen Johnson, School Psychologist, Wake County Public School System

Attendees will learn ways to address anxiety and parental impact on the development and maintenance of childhood anxiety.   Family accommodation (FA) is intended to be a parent-based intervention with the purpose of alleviating and avoiding long-term anxiety and childhood impairment.  Presenters will provide strategies from a strengths-based, collaborative perspective to tackle this prevalent issue. Come prepared to be educated, inspired, and challenged to solve problems and achieve breakthroughs!
