The Evidence-Based School Counseling Conference (EBSCC) is coming to North Carolina! We’ll gather at UNC Charlotte on March 6-7, 2027, preceded by Research Day on March 5.
EBSCC brings together school counseling practitioners, counselor educators, researchers, graduate students, and education leaders who are committed to strengthening school counseling through evidence-based practice. With the conference in our home state this year, we hope to have strong representation from North Carolina counselor educators and graduate students sharing the great work happening across our programs.
We especially invite you to:

Submit a breakout session proposal highlighting research or practice aligned with the evidence-based school counseling framework.

Encourage your doctoral students and recent alumni to submit breakout session proposals.

Share our NEW graduate student poster presentation opportunity during Research Day with your students. Both master’s and doctoral students will be invited to can submit poster proposals highlighting school counseling-related research. The Call for Poster Proposals will open in early October, so please encourage students to begin considering work they may want to share!

Share the conference with colleagues, students, and school counseling partners who may be interested in attending or presenting.
