COUNSELOR EDUCATION PROGRAM -- North Carolina Central University

A Message for Alumni

Click HERE for a letter to all alumni of the program

Johnston County Public Schools has a number of school counseling position openings at some phenomenal schools. If you are interested, but have not yet graduated from your counseling program, you still may be eligible to apply under provisional licensure. You are eligible for provisional school counseling licensure once you've completed 18 credit hours of graduate work towards your school counseling degree. Any candidate in need of this license would be supported through the process after being recommended for hire.

If you have interest in this opportunity, there are positions currently available in elementary, middle, high, and even a virtual setting right now. Here is a direct link to our full listing of vacancies. You can type "counselor" in the search bar to see fewer results: https://nc.teachermatch.org/jobsboard.do?districtId=569414023
