The Armstrong Center for Hope (ACFH; https://armstrongcfh.com), with offices in Durham and Raleigh, is seeking half- to full-time licensed (NC licensure) behavioral health providers to provide psychotherapy, psychological testing, consultation, and training to children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and/or groups. Associate-level providers are welcome to apply. We are primarily seeking associates to work from our Raleigh office; however, some opportunities are also available through our Durham office. Nearly all of our therapy services are currently offered via telemental health, and we anticipate that some telemental health services will continue even as Covid dissipates.
The ACFH, with our strong referral base from schools, healthcare providers, and faith communities, cultivates psychological and spiritual wellness for our clients and interactive psychoeducation with our community members. Additionally, we promote a collegial and inspiring atmosphere for our associates, including twice monthly opportunities for community building, professional development, and case consultation. We are a generalist practice that makes plenty of room for associates to develop a specialty or niche.
Strong applicants will demonstrate some evening and/or weekend flexibility, experience with insurance panels, cultural humility, and a variety of clinical experiences across treatment settings. Specialization in one or more of the following areas is desirable: child, adolescent, and family psychotherapy; experience in conducting psychological and/or neuropsychological evaluations; fluency in Spanish; experience with multicultural concerns; and experience in the integration of faith/spirituality into psychotherapy.
