Person County Schools is currently seeking high-quality school counseling candidates and would greatly appreciate your assistance in sharing this opportunity with your graduating students and alumni.

At this time, we havetwo elementary school counselor openings and two high school counselor openings, and we anticipate an additional middle school opening in August.

Our district is deeply committed to strong student support services and believes that comprehensive school counseling programs are essential to student success. We prioritize collaborative team structures, strong district-level support, and professional growth opportunities for our counselors. Our student support professionals are valued as leaders within their schools and play an active role in MTSS, mental health initiatives, crisis response, and proactive student engagement.

We are seeking fully licensed (or license-eligible), self-motivated, student-centered candidates who are eager to make a meaningful impact. We strive to create an environment where counselors can focus on supporting students while being supported themselves.

If you have candidates who would thrive in a collaborative and supportive district, we would welcome the opportunity to connect with them. I am happy to provide additional information or speak with interested students.

Please share this with any contacts who may be able to help us spread the word.  Thank you for your continued partnership in preparing the next generation of school counselors.

Best,
Jenna H. Regan, M.Ed., MSA
Senior Executive Director of Student Support
Person County Schools
