COUNSELOR EDUCATION PROGRAM -- North Carolina Central University

Dr. Taheera Blount has been awarded the 2022-2023 Professional Research Grant from the Association for Creativity in Counseling (ACC). Dr. Blount will receive $250 to use toward her research and further ACC's mission in fostering creative approaches in counseling. 

Dr. Blount is invited to attend the ACC Conference, December 9th-10th in Melbourne Beach, Florida. The awards ceremony will be held on Friday, December 9th during a luncheon, where she will be formally introduced and recognized. She will also have the opportunity to meet the ACC President, ACC Board members, and their Emerging Leaders. Dr. Blount will also present her research findings at an upcoming ACC conference.

In October 2015, the Counseling Program at NCCU was selected as the "Most Outstanding Master's level Counseling Program" by the Southern Association of Counselor Education and Supervision.
