Becton mediumCongratulations to Dr. Tasha Hicks Becton, who has been selected to serve on the American Counseling Association's first-ever Antiracism Commission.

The goal of the commission is to "discuss, evaluate, and propose actions that will guide ACA in breaking down systemic and institutional barriers that exist in the association and counseling profession."  Dr. Becton will also be briefed on the action of ACA staff.  

Dr. Becton's service on the commission begins immediately and will run through the end of June, 2022.

Did You Know?

In October 2015, the Counseling Program at NCCU was selected as the "Most Outstanding Master's level Counseling Program" by the Southern Association of Counselor Education and Supervision.
