The Counselor Education Program at North Carolina Central University is pleased to announce the hiring of a new faculty member: Dr. Jennifer Barrow.

Jennifer Barrow is a Licensed Professional Counselor in NC and a National Certified Counselor.  With over 10 years of professional school counseling experience, she has previous work experience in rural, urban, and Title 1 public high schools, as well as working in the private sector providing staff development.  She has conducted groups related to female self-esteem, healthy relationships, and media influences.  She has presented at state, regional and national conferences on a variety of topics. Dr. Barrow is a 2011 graduate of North Carolina State University.
