Greetings University Faculty,
Behavioral Health Intervention Center, LLC is a licensed mental health outpatient facility, located in Charlotte, NC and we are now accepting ongoing applications for clinical mental health students who are in need of a practicum or internship. Our internship program is designed for students who are seeking experiential hours to become LCMHCA, LCASA, LCSWA or LMFTA in the state of North Carolina. We offer all of our interns:
- A guaranteed number of weekly counseling hours (we are currently primarily conducting telehealth sessions due to COVID-19)
- Weekly group and individual clinical supervision conducted by an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) with the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board
- Access to our state-of-the-art clinic that is equipped with audio and video capabilities
- Experiential hours within the fields of both mental health and substance abuse counseling; which prepares students for dual licensing credentials upon graduation
