On Thursday, May 23rd, Dr. Taheera Blount presented part of her research at the 2019 Bridging the Gap Symposium held in Atlanta, GA. She co-presented with Dr. David Fitzpatrick of North Carolina State University. The title of their presentation was "I know I've Been Changed: An Examination of how African-American Women Use Spirituality, Religion, and Family to Achieve Sustained Recovery from Substance Use Disorders”.
