Title: The Duality of Mothering and Career Satisfaction

The presenters will then share research regarding the multiple barriers experienced by mothers balancing their work and parenting roles, with specific attention on mothers working within helping professions. Attendees will be engaged in a discussion regarding their own personal and professional experiences of the barriers working mothers face, as well as discuss the concept of what they feel it means to achieve career satisfaction.
