Eagle Counseling, Consultation, and Research Clinic (ECCRC)
We are excited to announce that the NCCU Counseling Program has established a counseling clinic for members of the surrounding community.
The Eagle Counseling, Consultation, and Research Clinic (ECCRC) will provide individual, couples, and family counseling at little to no cost for ages 13 and up. We are offering in-person sessions in our new clinic space in the H.M. Michaux, Jr. School of Education Building on campus in Durham - and via telehealth.
We believe in quality mental healthcare for everyone, regardless of their financial status or insurance coverage. All services offered on a sliding scale of $0 to $30 per session.

- October 25: Department faculty meeting
- October 31 - November 2: Final defenses for students graduating in December
- November 2-4: NC School Counselor Association Conference
- November 3-5: Southern Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (SACES) Conference
- November 4: Last day for graduate students to withdraw from a course (changed from Oct. 7)
- November 4: Founder's Day (and start of Homecoming weekend)
- November 11: MOAs for spring 2023 placements due to Dr. Blount by 5pm
- November 13: Online open house for prospective students - 7pm ET
- November 14: Eagle Counseling, Consultation, and Research Clinic Grand Opening Celebration - 4pm
